Eta Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi

February 20, 2009
“The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.”
1 Corinthians 3:8

Greetings My Brothers!

It is with a humble spirit and through the grace of the Supreme Basileus, who has blessed us with another opportunity to exemplify MANHOOD, value SCHOLARSHIP, embrace PERSEVERENCE, and commit ourselves to UPLIFT that I greet you my brothers.  Today begins a new year full of promises and challenges, as we engage in the business of our beloved fraternity.  My prayer is that as we go about the business of Omega this year, that we remain zealous, and in return pass that genuine zealousness onto the Brethren with whom we fellowship.

Many of you have challenged this year’s officers to raise the standards of Eta Nu, and humbly and collectively we accept this challenge.  However, I ask in return that you challenge yourselves to raise the standards and be that beacon of light for Eta Nu Chapter.  Now is the time that we adhere to those cardinal principles that sets us apart from all others, therefore confirming that Eta Nu Chapter is a cut above the rest.

As we approach our 40th Anniversary, it will be an honor and privilege to serve you as we continue to build on the traditions that have carried us thus far.

Fraternally,

Brother Daryl A. Johnson
Basileus

We have come a long way going all the way back to Brother Sam Clear, Wayne Cross, and Terry Brown along with the other brothers that started this. I just been the brother in the relay race that has gotten to break the tape." No date has been set to move from the current location as of yet, but plans in the making for solicitations for architectural drawings and other preliminary steps to make the acquisition our new home. Congratulations to Brother Harrell and his committee who have worked tirelessly to See It Through!
